There is a long standing battle between F1 and NASCAR:
Too many meaningless passes. Not enough passing.
Its boring. They drive in circles.
Both sports are great to watch. They are all driving with different talent.
Imagine this: A US F1 team backed by NASCAR taking the fight to the Ferrari and Mclaren's. You want ratings in the US? Put Jeff Gordon or Dale Jr in the carbon fiber shell and with some KERS backed by Google as an advertiser. DUPONT could help with materials and developing the car. The true drivers will shine and be as good as Massa or Alonso.
Let's take the skills of NASCAR to the global stage and put a US F1 Team on the front row.
NASCAR has already got Hallam from Mclaren
Lets take the fight to Ferrari. by 2012. Join Me in this crusade to see this happen !!!
