Daytona 500 called on rain. WTF?

Throw some wet weather tires on the cars and let them race in the rain. It is totally lame to call a race for that level of rain. I live in Florida and this amount of rain is nothing.

This is where I love F1. The 2008 Championship was decided because of rain and tire strategy. (Massa lost because of Piquet's slide on slick tires) Trust me, the fans will stay to watch. They paid their money. So NASCAR needs to take a lesson from F1 and let them run in the rain. Juan Pablo Montoya would have done well in the rain. :)
